UK Foreign Minister William Hague Demands An End To Violence In Libya…Longtime Leader/Dictator Moammar Gaddafi’s Regime Violently Defiant!!!

Emboldened by the wave of revolution that has toppled the dictatorships of longtime Middle East rulers in Egypt and Tunisia, the people of Libya have mounted a revolution that has become a serious threat to the 40 year rule of longtime dictator Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi.(Source)

In a desperate  attempt to hold on to his crumbling power, the Libyan madman has ordered his troops, and has paid for mercenaries, to shoot, bomb, attack and mame the peaceful protesters,and also had his son go on TV to threaten more violence on the protesters, and has promised to continue the violence until the last drop of blood.(HuffPo)

It has been reported that at least 200 Libyan protesters have been killed by the Libyan military.(CNN)

Colonel Gaddafi’s son, Saif al-Islam al-Gaddafi, came on TV and addressed the reports of the deaths by initially denying the regime had anything to do with it, and blamed it on the protestors, and the he made this chilling statement...“instead of crying over 200 deaths we will cry over 100,000s of deaths… We will flight to the last man and woman and bullet. We will not lose Libya. We will not let Al Jazeera, Al Arabiya and BBC trick us…

Today, two Libyan fighter pilots defected,to neighboring country of Malta,landing their jets there, rather than take part in the slaughter of their own people, defying the leaders order to mow down the peaceful Libyan protesters.(BBC)

The regime has also kicked out all foreign press agents, and have disabled the internet,in an attempt to weaken the effects of Facebook, and other social networking sites, that have been so instrumental in coordinating the Arab revolution in several countries in the middle east.(Source)

Libya’s deputy ambassador to the United Nations,Abdel Moneim al-Honi, has denounced his country’s ruler Col. Muammar el-Gaddafi, in protest to the escalating violence unleashed by Libyan security forces against anti-government protesters that has killed several hundred people.(NY Times)

In doing so, he proclaimed defiantly tha he was …“joining the revolution”.

Libya’s ambassador to the United States Ali Ojli also condemned “the repression of the protesters.(VIDEO)

…I say that if you have to ensure your power over your people by killing them,threatening them, and intimidating them into silence…then the foundations of your power is shaky,and not supported by the will of your people.(LA Times)

The Libyan people are essential being held hostage by the current ruler of their government, and that is an unsustainable, as Colonel Gaddafi will soon find out.(Source)

Bombing your people is a last-ditch effort, that will ultimately fail….you simply can not kill off a movement by killing people.That just makes the movement stronger!!!

Libya exports a million barrels of oil a day, and accounts for about 10 percent of Europe’s oil supply, so the violence there has already had an impact on world oil prices.(Source)

Gold prices have jumped as well. Oil companies are evacuating as many foreign national as possible, and the United States is evacuating all non-essential diplomatic personnel.(Source)

Today,EU Foreign Ministers in Brussels, UK Foreign Minister William Hague told journalists he has called Colonel Gaddafi’s son, Saif al-Islam al-Gaddafi, in Libya on Sunday to demand an end to the violence against protestors.

Hague roundly criticised the regime’s current actions, and appealed for international observers to be permitted access to the country.(Source)
