Teen Shot By Dad Execution Style For Suspected Molestation Of His Half-Sister
Jamar Pinckney executed his own 15-year-old son
Jamar Pinckney 37, after suspecting and confronting his son about his suspicions that he,15-year-old Jamar Jr., about molesting his 3-year-old baby half-sister.
There were rumors swirling on the internet that Jamar Jr. had confessed to his dad of molesting his 3-year-old baby sister, but there are no official reports of any such confession by Jamar Jr.
The family tragedy happened on November 17th, in Highland Park,Michigan.
Since the execution, doctors have not been able to find any sign of abuse on the young girl, after a very thorough medical investigation. It is believed that nothing happened to her, and that Jamar Jr. was killed for no reason.
Police say that Jamar Sr. went to the home of Jamar Pinckney Jr.’s aunt in Highland Park, Mich., and pulled Jamar Jr. from the house. Witnesses say the father, 37, ordered the teenager to strip nude and took him to a nearby vacant lot, yelling, “Lie down! Lie the f— down!”
He was armed with a hand gun, and acted very crazy, so the witnesses feared for their own life, and could only beg and plead for him to stop.
The boy reportedly was heard begging his father to stop. But when he refused to lie on the ground, police say Jamar Jr.’s father fired at point-blank range in broad daylight about 2 p.m.
Witnesses say the father then casually drove away, leaving his son wounded and bleeding. Jamar Jr. later died at the hospital.
Young Jamar Jr. spent time in joint custody at the home of his mother and sometimes with his father. The father and son had reportedly been in a verbal and physical altercation over another unrelated family transgression,unknown to the police. The defense is claiming that James executed his son because it was his personal reaction to hearing the news that his son had molested his little girl, and that there is no standard for a ”normal” reaction in such cases.
They are claiming that it was done in the heat of the moment, which is short of saying that he was temporarily insane.
Given that the little girl was not molested by young Jamar Jr. nor anyone else, it appears to me that Jamar Sr. executed his son for some other reason, if there is such a thing that would rise to this extreme level of punishment.
I suspect this is the result of mounting tension between the ex-wife and the father.Executing young Jamar was his way of getting rid of his ties to his ex-wife, because he probably lost total authoritative control over his son, who wa going through normal teenager growing pains.
Everybody involved with this will be damaged forever. He should have let the justice system take it’s course on the son, because this is one mistake that he can not take back.
He now is left to attempt to defend his defenseless actions here.

Although I have been opposed to the death penalty all of my life, in this case I have questioned my belief. There could be no justification for a father to purposly kill his son. This child did a wrongful act, and admitted to knowing that he was wrong, so it seems that he was crying out for help at that point. I feel that it isa problem that the mother should have dealt with herself without involving the father especially if she knew that the fathers and her relationship was strained. This was a horrible tragedy and cannot be undone. A family has been torn apart and none of parties concerned will ever be the same

Unbelieveable. What is going on in this country? We have become a nation of animals. Kill your own children,my God! Even if this Child had molested his half-sister,he should have been turned over to authorities. I think perhaps the father killed him because he did’nt want his son to go to prison where he would be hurt by other prisoners. Himself raped,or beaten badly,or killed. I thought this before reading your well thought out article,now I see he had no real reason except revenge! Our country has fallen into a dark hole. If,we dont watch out,this situation will become the norm.

On what alter reality are you operating on? can u READ? this man was NOT trying to “save” his son from anything!! There was NO molestation- we dont even know if there was any accusation from the Mom in the first place!!
There was animosity towards his son PRIOR to this savage murder.. The dad was an evil hateful piece of ***.. who wanted the opportunity to harm his son and he did it!!

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life. So these people were such cowards, and so afraid for their own life, that they let this young boy get shot and killed. Disgusting, If I were watching a scene where a child was about to be killed, especially my child, I would have gotten killed myself in order to save him. I just cant understand how they could watch that it seems so disgusting to me.

AS I SIT HERE AND WATCH THE TRIAL ON TELEVISION I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE THAT A PARENT WOULD TAKE THE LIFE OF HIS OWN CHILD ESPECIALLY ON SOME HEAR-SAY. THEN TO FIND OUT THAT THE CHILD WASN’T NOR HAD EVER BEEN MOLESTED IS DISGUSTING AS WELL AS DEVESTATING!!!! I DO HAVE QUESTIONS WHERE IS THE LITTLE GIRLS MOTHER AND ALSO WHO STARTED WITH THE ACCUSATION AND WHERE/WHEN DID THE INVESTIGATION TAKE PLACE THAT PROVED THAT THE SON HAD DONE THE MOLESTATION AS WELL AS WHETHER THE LITTLE GIRL HAD BEEN MOLESTED. NONE OF THESE QUESTIONS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED BY THE COURTS OR THE MEDIA AND YET AND STILL ONE OF OUR YOUTH LOST THEIR LIFE UNECCESSARILY. AND WE WONDER WHY WE LIVE IN THE STATE WE LIVE IN……WHERE IS THE COMMON SENSE OR IS IT STILL THE DISEASE THAT NO ONE WANTS TO CATCH?

I learned today that he attended an excellent high school with honors and graduated from PURDUE. His job was a postal carrier. I can see he had a good educational background but just maybe he did not get the kind of employment he seeked because of his hardened appearance and displayed cold attitude.He appears to be disgracefully bitter and frightening. The doctor stated today that they did not find anything significant during her exam. Informed them to follow up with private Dr. Mom did that and her doctor says he is not familiar with female child clients.He proceeded to take out a book to diagnose this child! I am a teacher and we do all we can to help and protect our kids and yet parents abuse and kill them without allowing the total facts to be examined.
This is atrocious and disparingly SAD and it tugs at the heart strings of my heart. I will pray for this family daily. Please adults, stop this kind of thing from happening. Love your kids, open your hearts and ears, seek help for them and pray with them abundantly. Take them to pastors for assistance and help. Throw pride out the window and embrace their rights and wrongs. Hug them daily and let them know we as a family will help you work through this..Including GRADES! Stop beating them because they did not receive all A’s and B’s..God gave us all talents..tap into that and help them to find that hidden passion. God bless us all to know he gave us our children to love and to make a difference in this world.

Responding to person who does not know how this cme about. It was stated that child was at aunts house….started humping ( mon used this term) aunt and aunt admon ished her. Later she asked aunt what is this-pointin g to The Area..she tells aunt this is where the boy put his ….aunt calls mom out of a meetin g she and older daughter was attending..so that is all I know at this point..Father will take the stand on Mon.. It is on tv. I get it oln True TV.

I don’t believe the father was trying to “save” his son from the horrors of prison. If he was, his method though still wrong would be different. This was a pre-meditated act plain and simple fueled by an anger that stemmed from a source not clearly revealed and the son was simply caught in the middle. What I can’t wrap my head around is the ever increasing atrocity of a parent killing someone that is of their own flesh, someone who is weak, dependent and innocent. Instead of love nurturing and caring, they receive neglect abuse and cold blooded murder. Our society is a sick and self-centered society and the sad part is it won’t get any better

The attorneys are delivering their closing arguments today…in fact I just watched the prosecutor deliver her closing arguments, so no sentence has yet been rendered.
They are going for life without parole.

Apparently he was sentenced in April,so the broadcast on TruTV is confusing.I thought it was a live broadcast, until they kept saying that the verdict is coming up soon!

looks like it’s about 80 years, and he will be eligible for parole in 2046.
He gets 35-80 years and it is deemed to be manslaughter.

To Jerry, as a regular watching of InSession formerly Courttv, they will reguarly broadcast a trial that has already occurred. The only time u see “live” is when the anchors are talking to guests in realtime. Other than that, if its a past trial, it will not be headlined as live.
