Widow Lived With Corpses of Husband, Sister…This Is Taking The Grieving Process Much Too Far!!!

This story describes what I find to be taking the grieving process to its most bizarre extremes…and I mean not normal to lucid, responsible adults!!!

The AP is reporting that…A 91-year-old widow in rural Pennsylvania was found to be living with the corpses of her husband and twin sister.

Jean Stevens claims she did it because for her, death is very hard to take.

…I guess everybody grieves in a different way, but this is ,well, crazy!?!?

The late James Stevens, a WWII vet and General Electric employee, has spent the last ten years of his death, propped up, and mummified sitting on a couch in the Stevens’ garage, clad in “a dark suit, white shirt and blue knitted tie.”(HUFFPO)

…And as if that wasn’t creepy enough: Jean did the same thing with her sister, June!!!(SOURCE)

Most people who get caught with dead bodies in their house usually have a monetary or nefarious motivation for doing so, but  twin sister June died of cancer in October of last year; and James Stevens died in 1999, of Parkinson’s disease.(MSNBC)

Police were tipped off about the strange living conditions, and removed the corpses from the home.

Police have not decided if they are going to press charges against the 91-year-old widow.(SOURCE)

…Maybe instead of charges, they could get her a room mate?…She sounds lonely.

91-Year old woman lives with corpses for over 10 years!!!
