Venus Williams has managed to set the standard for bold fashion choices once again in the tennis world, by donning what may be one of the sport’s most talked about and controversial outfits, for her win on Sunday in her opening match against Patty Schnyder, at the 2010 French Open.(SOURCE)

As a budding professional fashion designer, Venus is using her international stage provided to her by way of her championship tennis form, to expose the public and the fashion world, her taste in sports fashion, as she is competing in her own personal designs.

She has elevated her game to artistic mastery of her sport, so I see the uniquely sexy and  eccentric outfits that she is designing, as an extension of her domination of this sport, which she has consistently achieved her entire career ,starting with her old school French braids, and beads that used to be her signature hairstyle.
