12-year-old Kayleah Wilson of Greeley found dead…positively identified today in Colorado…
Police confirmed Thursday that a body recovered from an irrigation ditch in northern Colorado is that of a 12-year-old Kayleah Wilson of Greeley, who was last seen walking to a friend’s house for a birthday party in March.(SOURCE)
Greeley Police Chief Jerry Garner said in the press conference that Kayleah was identified by dental records. Investigators do not know the exact time and date of death but say she has been dead for long time, Garner said.
A $40,000 reward is still being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
Fifteen investigators from Greeley police are back on the case, Garner said, and they are looking for new leads. Anyone with information on the case should call (970) 350-9600, Garner said.
