Cali Swag District member  Montae Talbert,22, who performed under the name ‘M-Bone’, and part of the group who popularized a dance called the “Dougie” was gunned down, shot twice in the head on Sunday night in his hometown of Inglewood, California.(NPR)

M-Bone was sitting in a car in the 400 block of North La Brea Avenue when a car pulled up next to his and someone fired two rounds that struck the rapper in his head, Inglewood Police Lt. Steve Overly said Monday.(CNN)

The police originally reported that it was a random act of violence, and that M-Bone had been the victim of a drive-by-shooting because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.(TMZ)

Apparently, the suspect and M-Bone had engaged in a heated on-line Twitter debate and cyber-smack talking.Friends are stating that M-Bone was not threatened or bothered by the hater, and did not let it stop him from seeing the young lady.(LA Weekly)
