We are sorry to report on the sad passing of Tisha Taylor Murphy, the wife of actor/comedian Charlie Murphy, brother to superstar comedian/actor Eddie Murphy.

According to reports, Tisha Taylor Murphy died on Sunday night of cancer.

Charlie Murphy’s wife was battling cancer for two years now,and her life ended while she slept peacefully in her bed in their New Jersey home. The two have been married since August 1997.

Charlie Murphy and Tisha Murphy have two children together, including a child from a previous relationship Charlie had. Charlie is best known for his spots on ‘Chappelle’s Show’ and being Eddie Murphy’s older brother.

The family is wishing for privacy during this trying time for them, as they come together to mourn the death of their loved one.
