North Carolina Bishop Brian Moore Arrested For Felony Possession Of Marijuana

BREAKING NEWS-This just in…a North Charleston pastor has been arrested on drug charges in North Carolina.

The media is ablaze with the stunning reports that pious Bishop Brian Moore, has been arrested trying to hook up some drugs.

And what particular devil- narcotic was the trusted Bishop trying to score, you ask…well, the heinous narcotic threat that we are destroying this mans good name over is …hold your breath…weed.

Here is a quote from local news service (WCSC)A Low country pastor is now facing drug charges in North Carolina.

47-year-old Brian Moore was arrested for felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia near Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday.

Moore is a pastor at the Life Center Cathedral Church in North Charleston.

He also works for several other churches in North and South Carolina.

According to the Mecklenburg County, North Carolina Sheriff’s Office web site Moore posted $3,250 in bond for three total charges.

I am shocked by the esteemed trusted Bishops activities here…but, like Chris Rock said,… I understand.

Not my business…but I understand….Problem here is,is that this behavior probably does not jibe with what you are preaching, currently,…and may go against the doctrine of your church organization that you represent, so you would have to understand the reaction from the public.

I can only trust that they can get over it.

Here in California, you can get a medical prescription for the cure you were seeking, and cases like this can only serve as a good reason to implement medical marijuana nationwide.

You definitely do not want a bunch of stressed out,’ Jonesing’ preachers out on the streets trying to score.

Clean up the streets, and keep preachers from getting caught up trying to score weed like common criminals,… like a heroine addict.Medical MJ for all…

Bishop Brian Moore...busted for scoring some weed...

Bishop Brian Moore...busted for scoring some weed...

Stop the madness…

I pray for understanding in this case for Bishop Brian Moore, he is truly a man of God…let’s not be hypocritical….

  1. It’s easy for people to be judgemental of a person, especially without knowing the spirit of the person. This man is a true angel of God, who reaches out to many people. This is a set-up and clearly not in his character. He’s innocent until proven guilty, and you’ll find no guilt with him AT ALL concerning this matter. Keep your head up Bishop…We’re praying for you and your family. May God continue to richly bless you all.

  2. I have know him for a very long time. He was a music mentor to me. I am deeply saddened by this news and attack againt God’s man and ministry. I can only pray that God would show Himself mighty and strong during this attack against Bishop Moore. I will not speak negative about him , his ministry or situation because the Bible teaches us “touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm.” We just need to lift him up and not tear him down. We all are doing or have done something we had no business or not proud of, but just didn’t get caught. Lord have mercy on us ALL!

  3. A Greatly Anointed Man of God. I pray with faith that God will divnely intervince for he and his family and restore Him quickly to what the enemy has sought to take away.

And so My wife and I standin the GAP for this man of God so that will not alow the enemy to triumph over him.
Ezekiel 22:30 (KJV) And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

Who will stab din the GAP with for this man, his family and ministry?

  4. Pastor Moore you have always been there for me when I was strung out of my mind on drugs. You always encouraged me. I and my family are praying for you and your family we love you.

  5. It is not TRUE! It is more to IT!! That is a real MAN OF GOD!

  6. yes he is a true man of god and that dont make him perfect.so he is in title to make a mistake.he is a man and no man was made perfect . so he who has never sin throw the frist STONE. THAT IS MY POINT NO ONE HAS THREW A STONE YET. so dont point the finger becase you no the saying three right back at you. and may god keep blessing this man that is made from a perfect god .nevertheless his is not PERFECT

  7. We are fasting and praying for your continued strength in our Lord Christ Jesus We love you and your family from me to you the Manigault Family.

  8. Yes pray for this man of God. We don’t know all the details. If he has been taken in a fault, he needs to repent and seek help. In my opinion if these accusations are true he should not be preaching until he has been delivered and restored.

  9. I’m sorry but if he is truly one who will lead us, he will man up an go to rehab and prove that he will not longer be taking tithes and spending them on drugs. Sorry. But we need strong men to lead us. He is weak. He may be talented and is a showman on the pulpit, but he needs to go to rehab. Then I may be able to trust him again. He does not blind me with his showmanship. He is just a man. He is not God. He needs to beg the forgiveness of the children especially and show us all that he means to rid himself of the devil once and for all. If not, he should not try to be preaching for a while.

  10. Akaya, we still live in the United States so therefore we are innocent until proven guilty. I was strung out on hard drugs an Bishop Moore came to me in in places I would not dream of going today. What I am saying is we were not there and do not know the situation, judge me not less you be judged.

  11. Deborah – Girl, Please. I am so sick of church folk who think they are above God’s law. He was busted. He got caught. Stop praying over the situtation and GET HIM SOME HELP. His life is on the line. This is no time to be upset becase people are calling a spade, a spade. Stop making up excuses and being mad at people that had nothing to do with the situation. I feel that some of you good church folks knew he was getting string out and did nothing. I’ve been a christian a long time and the spirit tells me that you knew and did nothing. The blood is on your hands. It’s time to stop playing church and be a church.

  12. I think almost any substance can be abused and that it’s ridiculous that marijuana is illegal when it is much less dangerous when it is abused than when alcohol is. http://stonerdiary.wordpress.com

  13. Brian, I have know you since I first stepped foot into MBC in Mt. Vernon. I can only pray for you. I won’t judge you. You are a man, no different than David who sent a man into battle to die while he made it with the man’s wife. David spoke of his weaknesses and his victories. I just hope you and your family can overcome this if its a rumor, lie, or truth…Everyone deserves a second chance that is what the Love of Christ is, a second chance to make it to glory. I loved you then and I love you now and pray that God will continue to use you. You blessed my life when I was a little foreign girl in America and I remembered you never passed me without a hello. Keep strong and know that God is still God and only HE is perfect. This is what forgivness is about and Jesus meant it when he said; Thou shalt not judge. What is in our closets to make us better then you? Nothing! We are all Gods Children dependin gon His Grace to keep us. Love you my brother…Andea

    • Compared to what Bis. Eddie Long did…molest teen boys in his church, I feel that Bishop Moore deserves a second chance.
This is an old story, and I will update it if there is progress with this case, just to be fair to the pastor.
All sin is not equal, and this one, smoking marijuana, may be offensive to his church organization, but it’s viewed as a minor
      offense here in California.

  14. His charges were dropped!! RUN TELL THAT!!

    • That’s great! It was no big deal anyway.
Here in California, it’s really no big deal, and after this next election, it will become legal…
I have not followed this in quite a while, …so,he did not have any wed on him, and was not buying it to use?
Just asking, because a dropped charge does not mean he had nothing to do with the content of the charge?

  15. Hello Bishop Moore. I am Jackie Lee from Mount Vernon High School Gospel Choir.

Valerie and I were knows as the two tons of fun. I graduated in 1982. You have always been an inspiration to me. I will keep you uplifted in my prayers. Blessings to you and your family.

  16. Glad to see that Mt. V was in the house for Bishop Brian. I am glad the foolishness is over. I am on medication way more toxic than weed. The stuff I take would kill weed on contact. America really need to research the benefits of the canibus. It has other properties that help cancer patients and other autoimmune diseases to reduce inflammation. I dont smoke but i would take it in a pill if they could manufacture it right. My RA would probably go away.

  17. God has the first and last say… I like the woman at the well have NO stones to throw. God’s grave, mercy, peace and love be w/Bishop Moore and his family.

  18. That should be God’s grace, mercy, peace and love
