According to suspect Brian Gore, 29, the child was surviving on a diet that consisted of  a single Pop-Tart in the morning and another Pop-Tart or sandwich at night, said Maj. Darrell Warren of the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office.(Source)

“This is the worst case I have seen in my career,” Lt. Scott Little of the Gloucester County sheriff’s office,reported to the gathering media.

Upon returning to the premises the next day,to search for more evidence of child abuse, deputies discovered a child’s remains while digging around a shed at the residence. Police have yet to confirm that child’s age, sex or cause of death.

The couple appeared in a Gloucester County criminal court Wednesday morning where they refused bond and did not enter pleas.

The charges against the Gores have been filed in Gloucester Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.The parents, arrested and charged with felony child abuse. The mother was also charged with attempted capital murder.

The one-month-old child who was also living in the home is said to be just fine. The child is in the custody of protective services, and the caged little girl is reported to be in the hospital, in guarded condition.

I say, let’s lock these two abusive parent’s up in a cage for several years, and see how long they can survive on a ditet that consist of a daily Pop-Tart and bologna sandwich…
