…but found him guilty of obstruction of justice for impeding a grand jury investigation into illegal steroid distribution.They said that it was not proven that he lied when he said he had not knowingly used steroids, even though intimate reports of his shrunken testicles would lead you to believe something is wrong!(CNN)
The verdict against the former San Francisco Giants star capped a nearly seven-year probe that focused on Bonds’ denials under oath about knowingly using performance-enhancing drugs.(Source)

This is a felony conviction, but is not for a violent crime. Bond’s is not expected to be sentenced to any prison time, and it is expected that he will receive massive amounts of community service.(TMZ)
It is a small victory for Barry Bond’s and his team given the fact that he was convicted for knowingly taking steroids, so , it has not been proven that he is a steroid cheat.(Source)
