Arnold Schwarzenegger,63, will finally get an opportunity to beat down and defeat his political foes, only ,just like in reality, they will not be real, but only fantasy animated incarnations of the real thing that ultimately defeated him during his failed tenure as the golden states much beloved “Governator”.
(Watch ‘The Governator” animated trailer!!!)
With a huge assistance from G.I.R.L.I.E. men– producer Andy Heyward and Marvel comics legend Stan Lee,the former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will collaborate with this nerdish super creative team for an animated series and comic book called “The Governator.”
The “Governator” will feature Schwarzenegger’s wife, Maria Shriver, and kids to round-out the story of this superhero who lives a double life as a family man.(Source)
He’ll also have a “computer whiz” sidekick to help him defeat his arch-nemeses, the G.I.R.L.I.E. Men.
Schwarzenegger reports that…”When I ran for governor back in 2003 and I started hearing people talking about ‘The Governator’, I thought the word was so cool,”…“The word Governator combined two worlds – the world of politics and the movie world. And the cartoon brings everything together.”(Huffpo)
Stan Lee stated…”Only after he leaves the governor’s office, Arnold decides to become a crime fighter and builds a secret high-tech crime-fighting centre under his house in Brentwood.”(Hollywood Reporter)
We are not clear as to whether this is supposed to be a serious crime fighting action adventure series, or if it is a parody. All I know is that it will be something unique to introduce into the world of politics, and political debate.(NPR)
I will be watching!…if this keeps him out of real politics, then I am all for it!!!
“The Governator” comic book , animated series, and video games are expected to hit sometime next year.(Source)
As Charles Barkley would say, this sounds Turrble.
