The suspects whose ages range from 14 and 27, are accused of taking part in the rape last Thanksgiving which started at a house, then moved to an abandoned mobile home in a trailer park.

18 young men and teenage boys, some as young as middle-schoolers, were arrested and charged with raping,sexual assault, and kidnapping a minor under the age of 14.
To add insult to injury, the rapist recorded several of the sexual assaults on a cell phone, and texted the rape tape to several students at the victims school.

According to the Cleveland Police Department, the young rape victim is a student at Cleveland Middle School.
No one reported anything, but an elementary school student who received and viewed the video, went to the authorities to report the assault, which is how the police found out, and launched the investigation.(Source)
The police questioned the girl, and she told them what happened, and what led up to her being attacked and recorded.
Police then interviewed school employees who had heard of the incident, and one employee spoke with several students who had seen the cell phone videos or heard of the incident yet did not report it, and did not have any empathy for the young rape victim.
…it’s like our children are barely human, devoid of any caring or human feelings for their fellow-man.

They have also stooped as low as to blame the preteen’s mother for the victims assault.

Cleveland, a small city about 50 miles north of Houston, Texas,is a small town of only 9,000 citizens, and you would think that in a small town like that, they would do a better job at raising their children not to support the rape and public humiliation of an 11-year old child.

I don’t care what a little girl has on or does not have on, how can anyone twist that into justification to rape her? And furthermore, if you are pretending to be a man, how can you get aroused by an undeveloped or underdeveloped child? Even when some of these children start developing early, your (supposedly) big boy mind & body should be turned OFF by their age.
These rapists and the people in the community that support them should have child molester carved in their forehead. Then be put in prison with guys that have been locked up for 15-20 years and find out how it feels to get gang raped.

I believe sending these “men” to jail is too easy. Yes we all know what happenes to child molesters in jail they get raped but then the prison system separates them from the general population because they are being attacked and they should be. My point is after a while they are no longer in danger and let’s not forget their community support’s them so nothing may not happed to them. If she were my child and she told me mom 28 “men” raped me I would take care of them one by one.

I have a kid on the way and if that ever happened to her i would slaughter every one of them, what I’m trying to say is i feel for the family and the victim and hope all those men and kids evolved get the worst.

As the father of an 11 year old girl, I hafta say, I hope that those 28 men get more than the law allows them to get as punishment. As a father of two girls, I would go after these guys myslef, even if I had to go to prison to do what I think would be justice. I truly feel for the little girl. No matter if she dressed innapropriately. SHE’s 11 years old.

Not only is the crime committed against this 11 year old girl beyond horrile, but the reactions of most of the people in the community where she resided was equally disgraceful. This young girl will have to carry the emotional (as well as the physical) and psychological scars of this act of savagery on the part of all those men who did this to her for the rest of her life. The guys who did it belong put away behind bars for a long time. Here’s hoping that happens.
