A lowland silverbacks gorilla who resides in a Zoo in the U.K, is proving once and for all that Charles Darwin’s controversial theory of evolution is a fact of nature, and not fiction,by mastering the unusual behavior of standing and walking upright on his hind legs, just like a man!…

Ambam,21, a Western lowland gorilla, has become a you tube viral video hit, and a crowd favourite at England’s Port Lympne Wild Animal Park after being filmed sauntering around  his enclosure on his hind legs.(MSNBC)

Phil Ridges, Ambam’s keeper, said it was “not a novelty” for park staff as gorillas were sometimes known to walk in this way,but is rarely seen by the general public walking around in this manner.(Source)

Many observer’s notice Ambam developing a certain “swagger” with his walk, and think that he is picking this mannerism up by copying the staff and his keepers there…or he has seen the movie “Planet Of The Apes”, and knows his kind will eventually win?!?!(Source)

Ambam’s behavior of choosing to stand up to grab the best food,is the basic tenet of Darwin’s theory of ‘Natural Selection” for survival in action.

Pretty soon, tall the male gorillas in Ambam’s clan will have to stand up and walk, just to maintain their respect, or AmBam will dominate them all.He will be bigger and stronger than the rest, simply because of his lead position to grab the best food.(Source)
