Recently, the Wisconsin transplant, who now resides in Issaquah, Washington with his family, was featured on the  KOMO 4 Seattle local news segment Eric’s Little Heroes, presented band named after reporter Eric Johnson.

I happened to find this video after watching a segment on it on HLN, and to my surprise, I found several videos of little Jordan’s ball handling skills posted on You Tube, so if there was any part of me that was skeptical about the authenticity of the video, and that it was a real video,not demonstration of a skillful special effects artist…that did it!!!

…the only special effect is the incredible, draw dropping basketball handling skill of Jordan ‘J-Mac’ McCabe!!!…do not even try to step to this kid in a basketball pick-up game,or else!

Jordan’s two-ball dribbling drills remind me of the late great Pistol ‘Pete’ Maravich who was the youngest players ever inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, and who many consider to be “perhaps the greatest creative offensive talent in history”.(Video)

I would even goes as far as to say that J-Mac is on target to be as good a ball handler wizard as the incredible 1970’s Harlem Globetrotters superstar Fred “Curly” Neal, who became their featured ballhandler,who was known for his amazing trickery while dribbling a basketball or two.(Interview)

As a child in the 1970’s I was able to witness this first hand, and not only did he dribble the ball in every way imaginable, he also made an impossible rimless ‘Swish” shot, launched from the catwalk atop of the Sports Arena in my hometown!(Globetrotters Best Tricks)

I think that Jordan J-Mac McCabe’s skills at his young age is incredible, and that he is heading in the direction of these two classic ballhandlers, and that he will be able to join any team of his choice at this rate.(Video)

Either way, whatever happen’s with Jordan in his future, I bet we all can expect years of awe-inspiring basketball history to happen, in his hands, and given his name Jordan, it probably is his fate, which is a good thing for all of us to be around to witness.
