N.Y Store Owner Fights Off A Robber With A Trash Can(Video)

The AP is reporting that the New York Police Department has released surveillance video showing the owner of a store using a trash can to fight off a knife-wielding robber who was taking money out of the cash register.(NY Post)
Mohammed Esa, the owner of the Park Slope smoke shop, said the robber came in acting like he was a legitimate customer , before he suddenly rushed behind the counter, wielding a knife, and grabbing cash out of the cash register.(Fox)

Esa reacted to the attack by grabbing a trash can, filled with paper,and started to fight back.
No one was injured,but the robber did get away with a grand total of only$20.00 to add to his trash can beat down.
The prosecutors in Brooklyn, where the store is located, released this surveillance tape,and hope to catch the attacker, and put him away for few years.
The authorities recommend that store clerks do not put their life in danger for such a small amount of money,…but they never said anything about the shop owners!
I guess he did not want to see his store get trashed!…Police say the bandit sped away in a late-model, green Ford F-250. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
