SD Charger Shawne Merriman’s Lights Turned Out!!!…Continually Injured Player Dumped By Team!

Ex-steroid abuser ,budding actor,wannabe socialite, and part-time football player who gets paid to play full-time, 6 year veteran player Shawne Merriman,26, has been officially dumped by his team, the San Diego Chargers.(Source)

The Bolts have placed the steroid riddled perennially  injured fading linebacker on Reserve-Injured with a calf injury and a “minor-injury designation (less than six-week injury)”, which means the six-year veteran must be released by the team when he becomes healthy.(USA Today)

The three-time Pro Bowl linebacker who entered the league as a first-round draft choice of the Chargers in 2005, has seen only limited action this year because of Achilles and calf injuries.

In fact, Shawne Merriman has frequently been ineffective in games or, has not played at all,the frequency increasing ever since it was discovered that Shawne Merriman was illegally taking steroids to be more aggressive,faster, and physically more imposing.

Many believe his harsh demeanor on the field during games, which made him one of the most feared defensive players in the league and won him the three Pro-bowl commendations, was all due to his steroid abuse.(Source)

Most fans of San Diego, and many around the NFL have whispered about Merriman’s glaring decline into an average ineffective player, from the lofty height’s that he was able to achieve while injecting the illegal juice.

His decline due to his lack of steroid’s is as shocking as this before and after picture I found of Merriman on the web:

The one on the top is balloon boy Shawne, pumped up by ‘roids,stocked with a ton of speed and aggression, strong enough to take any large man down…

…and on the bottom you have the tiny,brittle-boned Shawne Merriman that became a liability on the Charger’s roster,and ultimately, a waste of money.

The only thing the fans of the Charger’s have been able to see Merriman excel in this season, was his cameo acting appearance on HBO’s “Entourage”, babbling about a new contract, as if he really deserves one anywhere in the N.F.L.

What we all have discovered about Shawne Merriman is that, just like a lot of things that come out of Hollywood, he was just as good as his special effects he shot up his arms.

Nothing here but smoke and mirrors…
