Gunman James Lee,43, Takes Hostages At The Discovery Channel…He Is Mad That More Humans Are Being Born.

Breaking News- A crazed and irrational gunman who has been identified as James Lee,43, entered the headquarters of the Discovery Channel in Silver Springs, Md., building around 1 p.m. and reportedly fired at least one shot,and has taken a small number of hostages.(REUTERS)

He was reportedly wearing some sort of explosive device strapped to his body along with the handgun,and has threatened to use it if his long list of demands are not met.(SOURCE)

The police are talking with him, and are negotiating an end to this dramatic stand-off for the past two hours.(Update-Video)

Mr. Lee’s  angry manifesto repeatedly refers to humans as “filth” and demands that the Discovery Channel “stop encouraging the birth of any more parasitic human infants.”(SOURCE)

James Lee, 43, from Washington, D.C., who has for at least two years called for protests against the company and who was arrested and found guilty of disorderly conduct for a protest outside of Discovery’s headquarters in 2008.(ABC)

Lee has posted a rambling manifesto on a website in which he rails against “disgusting human babies,” “parasitic infants,” and says people should “disassemble civilization.”(CBS)

James Lee is demanding that the Discovery Channel  and TLC cease to air programming that he deemed to be encouraging the birth of more humans….so, basically,he is insane!

Police are not reporting any injuries, but an ambulance did pull up to the building, and a stretcher did enter the Discovery Channel building, but police stress that that does not mean that any one has been injured.

The building and surrounding buildings have been evacuated, including Children at a day care center in the Discovery Building. The kids have been safely evacuated to a nearby McDonald’s.(SOURCE)

An e-mail alert was sent out to all the employees in the building stating…’We have reason to believe there is an armed gunman at One Discovery Place. All employees should seek protection in a locked office on their respective floors immediately,’..and was repeated over the public address system to alert those that may not have been in front of their computers, or cell phones, so that everyone could get the emergency warning.

The Discovery Channel headquarters in Silver Springs, Maryland, is located just outside Washington, and they air the shows “John and Kate +8”,and “19 and Counting” and other such programming that does in fact glorify the births of humans, which most rational people look as a good thing…

…Crazy people..not so much.

James Lee has made irrational demands to thwart the births of babies on his website over the years, and his list of demands today, are in line with the craziness that he freely spouts off on his website.(FOX)

The building houses approximately 1,900 people, and the west coast arm of the Discovery network has notified their employee’s that almost all of the employees in Silver Springs,Maryland, have been evacuated safely.

Luckily, the babies and small children got out alive, and one can only imagine what this mad man would have done to them had he found them in the daycare center that the Discovery network provides as a service to their employees.(HuffPo)

Here is a sampling of one of his demands...8). Saving the Planet means saving what’s left of the non-human Wildlife by decreasing the Human population. That means stopping the human race from breeding any more disgusting human babies! You’re the media, you can reach enough people. It’s your responsibility because you reach so many minds!!!

The F.B.I. is well aware of Mr. Lee, and they classify him as an Environmental Militant.

I have personally classified him as a domestic terrorist due to his actions today.

I don’t mind organizations picketing things that they disagree with, but I do disagree with people being allowed to picket things that are tied to our freedom, and way of life here in America, like the Westboro Baptist Church’s ongoing practice of picketing military funerals, Jewish institutions,Gay People, and the like,highlighting racial epitaphs and rude behavior, because they feel like the very existence of Jewish people is against their Christian God, and in the case of the military funeral’s, they feel that the soldiers are being killed by God because America does not persecute and destroy Gay Americans or burn up Jewish people!?!?

If a protest is against the rights provided to us under our Constitution, then it should be considered irrational, just like these demands by the terrorist James Lee.(The Bill Of Rights)

It is an inevitability that a crazy person with irrational and illegal demands against others rights to live, will, sooner or later escalate into a mass murder, or a hostage scenario, like what is currently going on today at the Discovery network, perpetrated by the terrorist James Lee.
