The FBI says it has launched an investigation into the controversial beating of an innocent man by a Seattle police officer.(VIDEO)
A freelance photographer caught on tape, officer Shandy Cobane ,on the night of April 17 in Lake Union, using racial slurs against the detainee and kicking him in the head, and another officer stomping on his leg while he is lying face down on the ground without handcuffs. The second officer was identified this week as Officer Mary Lynne Woollum, Seattle police said.(SOURCE)

In the video, the gang detective, Shandy Cobane, can be heard telling a man lying on a concrete sidewalk, “I’m going to beat the [expletive] Mexican piss out of you, homey. You feel me?”…
Some in the news profession suppressed the release of the taped beating,causing a wave of investigations, and firings at some news services.We are not a police state, and the illegal actions by the police perpetrated on innocent American citizens, should not be immune to the Freedom of the Press and Freedom of information act, guaranteed to us in the Constitution of the United States.(CNN)
Without a free press, minorities are doomed…as well as the rest of the citizens…

The NAACP has asked the King County prosecutor to charge the Seattle police officers with a hate crime.
Cobane, 44 and a 15-year veteran of the department, apologized for his language at a news event Friday night.(SOURCE)
FBI Special Agent Fred Gutt told CNN Wednesday that investigators will gather information on the incident and send it to the Civil Rights Section of the U.S. Department of Justice.
“They will then decide if a formal investigation is warranted,” he said.(SOURCE)

It is a shame that their legacy is being dishonored by the violent, predatory and bully like actions of rogue officers like Shandy Cobane and Officer Mary Lynne Woollum of the King County (Seattle)police force, as well as racist Phoenix, Arizona cop Brian Authement.
If it keeps going like this,pretty soon we will have enough innocent victims of police brutality to warrant a memorial for them in the nation’s capitol…
