Teacher Sheri Davis Fired After She Beats Down 13-Year-Old Pupil Isaiah Johnson

Jamie’s House Charter School in Houston, Texas teacher Sheri Lynn Davis,40, has been fired from her job as a teacher, and a lawsuit has been filed on behalf of the family against the teacher and the charter school, alleging abuse and gross negligence.

Isaiah’s mother Alesha Johnson said “I’m horrified. I just can’t believe something like that would happen to my child.”(SOURCE)

“By you putting your hands on my child, it’s not punishment. I don’t even beat on my son, so what makes you think you can?”

Sheri Davis, a science teacher at Jamie’s House Charter School, allegedly backed 13-year-old Isaiah Johnson into a corner and began beating him while his classmates watched.

The reason for the beating was blamed on the fact that the science teacher thought that Isaiah and a few other students were laughing at a mentally challenged student who was dancing. She thought this was insensitive, and it made her snap and back little Isaiah into a corner like a cowering dog…as she proceeded to beat him down like he had tried to kill someone!!!

Two wrongs do not make a right…

…totally unnecessary, and way over the line for a teacher, a parent, or any adult.This is a violent assault on a little kid!!!

The school is looking into allegations that other teachers watched the beat-down without stepping in, according to a school spokesperson, and said that it will punish any teachers found to have done that.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Department is also investigating the incident, although a spokesperson declined to comment further.(SOURCE)

…whatever he may have done or not…a beat-down is not a proper form of punishment for any child in public or private school!!!
