Phoenix Police Stop A Home Invasion Robbery…By Burning Down The House!!!…Suspect Killed!!!
A home invasion in Phoenix was put to an end when one person was shot and killed as police confronted burglary suspects leaving a burning house in north Phoenix Thursday morning.
The police were responding to a suspicious vehicle call that an alert neighbor made ,when one suspect came out of the burning home holding another person hostage, but after further investigation, the hostage was actually one of the burglars.
Fearing for hostage’s safety, officers shot and killed the suspect in the driveway. The suspect was shot in the head, and died immediately.
The fake hostage/robber ran back inside the house after his partner was killed,…even though the house was ablaze!
Phoenix police spokesman Luis Samudio says they took the male juvenile into custody after he decided to surrender and come out of the burning structure.
Firefighters were putting out the flames some distance from the house, spraying water from extended ladders. Officers had their guns pointed at the home while it was on fire, concerned more burglars might be in the home. (SOURCE)
Several nearby homes and a high school, Thunderbird High, was put on lock-down during the siege, and it is being reported that the female homeowner was not involved in the robbery because she was not home.
Police are still checking into the possibility that a third person was involved.(SOURCE)
I am pretty sure there was nothing inside of that house that was worth their lives…but in this case, the police did what they had to do…
