Troubled “Lost Boy” Star Corey Haim,38,Found Dead Today Of Apparent Drug Overdose
Breaking News- 1980’s “Lost Boys'” feature film child- star, and real life troubled actor Corey Haim,has been found unresponsive sometime before 2 a.m. inside a unit at the Oakwood Apartment Complex, located between Burbank and the Hollywood Hills, police said.(SOURCE)

I should know, …I lived there steadily from 1985 to 1997.
In the later part of the 80’s,kids were allowed, and they took over,switching the focus from adult entertainment to a safe haven for visiting out-of-town working child actors…..that did drugs and partied underage style.
This is the lifestyle that caused the downfall and the destruction of a once promising movie career in the 80’s, to a circus sideshow spectacle in the sad reality series chronicling his failed comeback attempt with his fellow train wreck Corey Feldman.
Sadly..the two Lost Boy’s named Corey,became lost real life lost boys as adults, because the party never ended for them.
It was just their careers as serious, reliable and professional actors that ended, along with the money.
it has been reported that Corey had been sober for some time, and was doing fine health wise.
TMZ.com reports that….Haim got out of bed just before 1 AM and collapsed in front of his mother. She called 911 at 12:53 AM and Corey was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:15 AM.(SOURCE)
Corey’s mom told authorities he had been battling prescription drug addiction for years.
There were no illicit prescription drugs found on the premises, and authorities say that Corey’s mom stated that he had been sick for the past couple of days.
Authorities strongly believe that he died of an accidental overdose, much in the same manner as Brittany Murphy, and Heath Ledger.
Prescription drug addiction is a major cause of death in not only Hollywood, but in the general public at large.
