Drunk Wisconsin Woman Disobeys Warning Signs, Feeds Bear At Zoo, Gets Fingers Bitten Off!!!
A totally drunk and possibly high, 47-year-old grandmother,Tracy Weiler, of Manitowoc,ignored warning signs,and put her hand through fencing to feed an Asiatic black bear at the Lincoln Park Zoo on Friday, police said.
Guess what happened next????
…you guessed it…she stuck her hand with 5 fingers in, and she came back with only 2!!!
Tracy Weiler lost a thumb and forefinger, and her middle and ring fingers were partially severed. She was taken to a hospital in Green Bay, about 40 miles north of Manitowoc, and later transferred to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, said Police Captain Scott Luchterhand.
The bear also bit the woman’s boyfriend, Lawrence Bosworth, 51, as he tried to free her from the bear’s jaws. He suffered only minor injuries.He was taken to Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers, 2 miles from the zoo.
Her 3-year-old granddaughter wasn’t injured.(Source)

Not only did she suffer major injuries, but it all was witnessed by their 3 year-old daughter, who, by the way, also had to witness her grandparents drinking to the point of being drunk in front of her, and they probably drove to the zoo drunk with her in the car, but there have been no reports to that effect to prove that allegation of drunk driving.
To add to their pain and humiliation that they brought to themselves by this drunken behavior.
Weiler and Bosworth agreed to a series of rabies vaccines, which they will have to pay for.
State law requires the biting victims to take the vaccines or for the zoo to euthanize the bears. Weiler and Bosworth had a choice to cover the cost of replacing the bears or the vaccines.(SOURCE)
I do have to give them some respect for doing the right thing and taking responsibility for their actions, and by stepping up, and refusing to agree to have the innocent bear put to death for his natural attack, by agreeing to pay for their own vaccines.
It is only fair, the bear was just acting like …a bear!!!
