Tacoma,Washington Teacher Stalked,And Killed Outside Of Her Classroom!!!!!
The 30-year-old teacher, who was identified by her family as Jennifer Paulson, died at the scene. The school is closed for the day. A counselor has been brought in for staff members at the school. Paulson’s family made a statement at the school. Paulson’s father identified the gunman as Jed R. Waits, at the school.
Police said the victim, 30-year-old Jennifer Paulson, had an anti-harassment order against the 30-year-old gunman, Jed R. Waits, of Ellensburg.”They weren’t a couple,” said Mark Fulghum of the Tacoma Police Department. “It sounds like they were acquaintances. He had a pretty good infatuation with her — that’s probably the reason for the anti- harassment order that was in effect.”
A local TV station reports…In court documents obtained by inside sources, Paulson called the man a “stalker” and wrote that she was “afraid for her safety.“Fulghum said Waits recently made bail after being arrested for violating a protective order Paulson obtained in September 2008. He said the two had apparently known each other since college, when they worked together at a cafeteria at Seattle Pacific University.Paulson’s father said his daughter was “a very kind, merciful, loving person.”
“That’s why she was a special ed teacher — because she loved so much,” said Ken Paulson.”What happened today was evil,” Ken Paulson said.(SOURCE)
Following the shooting, witnesses provided descriptions of the shooter, which were relayed to responding Tacoma officers and other law enforcement in the county.
After the killing, the perpetrator fled from the police and died in a wild no holds barred shoot out with the police.

The deputy got behind the car and, with the assistance of an undercover sheriff’s detective, initiated a traffic stop on Canyon Road.
The driver took off at a high-rate of speed. After about four blocks, the driver pulled over in a day-care parking lot on 166th Street.
“He came out with a semiautomatic handgun, he fired off a round,” Troyer said.
The deputy returned fire, killing the man minutes before 8 a.m. It’s not immediately clear where the man was going. The deputy involved has been placed on paid administrative leave, which is standard procedure.
The deputy reacted according to his training, Pierce County Sheriff Paul Pastor said at the scene.
“I don’t expect them to psychoanalize what’s happening at a moment of danger,” he said.(SOURCE)
Another unfortunate murder of a young woman who had sought the assistance of the proper authorities….and who had to find out tragically that an order of protection from the courts,will not protect her from a brutal violent and viscous attack from a suicidal scorned ex-lover, who was an psycho…

This is something that needs to be changed. To do a restraining order on a stalker, predetor, harrassor…the victom has to put all information of location, family, and friends, address and phone number. That copy is given to the stalker. Not a helpful situation. This only opens all avenues for this sort of endangerment to happen.
We have had to move, and move. Having to change your life to be safe is just horrible. It also makes a you more frightened, not being near to friends, and having others understand what you are going through. Trying to explain such situations sound trivial. Predators usually work hard to find you, and they also, seem to use others to find you, not only that, but they can use State organizations against you to sever your ties to work, relations, and family to put you in a more vunerable state. Then, they come into you life, as though a ‘hero’. Only to expect you to ‘submit’. If you don’t they will become angry. Passive behavior and role playing begins for the victom to try to not make that happen, and then it ‘appears’ that you have a ‘relationship’. In essence, it just gets worse and worse. And there is a fine line about the laws. How do you prove you are being stalked? The laws must be changed. Stalkers just as terrorists never change. Pretty soon some Federal program will say these sorts of behaviors are a disability, disease, or disorder. This is simply an evil game for people like this. It should be a more serious crime.
A victom of a stalker, who has harmed me and mine using others, the orgs., and severed ties with my friends and family. Making me afraid to meet new people. How it starts really isn’t the issue. Not being able to let another person go forward in their life safely, and with kindness is what this is about.

These orders only escalate the sick behavior.
The victim, being a normal human being, would take all the legal steps to protect herself, but the results is the opposite of safe!
The reality of the decision is that women need to prepare for the worst case scenario at all times, and be cognizant of the reality of what could happen…
and be a lot worst that their stalker.
The laws on the books put people in jeopardy.
