Wesley Snipes Comments on Attack on IRS Building In Austin,Texas…
Action star Wesley Snipes,47,who in 2008 was found not guilty of federal IRS tax-fraud and conspiracy charges, explains his thoughts on Thursday’s suicide attack on an IRS building in Texas.
Snipes was convicted on three misdemeanor counts of failing to file a tax return. Read about it here at the New York Post.
The AP reports that…Snipes used bizarre arguments to justify his position, saying the IRS’ own code meant income earned in this country wasn’t taxable, and the agency had no legal authority because it’s not a proper government entity.
Many of his arguments were similar to those cited by the terrorist Joseph Andrew Stack, that he claims was the cause for him to crash his plane into an IRS building in Austin, Texas, killing himself, as well as injuring and killing innocent victims.
The government said Snipes failed to file tax returns from 1999 to 2004, a period in which he signed two contracts for more than $10 million on sequels in the “Blade” trilogy.
Wesley Snipes is currently starring in the feature film ‘Brooklyn’s Finest’ with Don Cheadle.
He was sentenced to three years in prison. He is appealing the sentence.
I am certain that Wesley Snipes had more to say about this case, but I understand that during an appeal, it is wise not to say too much because of retaliation from the IRS,… but I am glad he made these statements!
I can relate to his tax issues with the IRS,..and I know first hand that the IRS does in fact abuse their absolute power in many cases….but that is still no reason to kill anybody.
If you want to get back at the IRS, support Wesley, and buy a ticket to see his new movie “Brooklyn’s Finest”…[picapp align=”right” wrap=”true” link=”term=wesley+snipes&iid=6392554″ src=”a/6/f/b/Brooklyns_Finest_66th_558f.JPG?adImageId=10507664&imageId=6392554″ width=”234″ height=”351″ /]
…and after he clears that up with the IRS, Wesley still needs to repair his relationship with the black women of America over this infamous quote from a 1997 interview in EBONY magazine…
…And I say to Black women also, Brothers who are very, very successful, or who have become somewhat successful, usually it’s been at a great expense, unseen by the camera’s eye….
“He doesn’t want to come home to someone who’s going to be mean and aggravating and unkind and who is going to be `please me, please me.’ He doesn’t want to come home to that. He doesn’t want to come home to have a fight with someone who is supposed to be his helpmate. So it’s very natural that he’s going to turn to some place that’s more compassionate….(SOURCE)

How about getting a tax bill from the IRS for 5 million bucks???…I think Wesley Snipes is an expert at that!lol..
..I am definitely not taking tax advice from him!!….but acting…yes.
I mean,Willy Nelson and Wesley Snipes can tell me expertly what gets you in trouble without the IRS,that might be enlightening, but other than
that..No!!so I am with you there man!
Anytime I can see Don Cheadle representing Cal-Arts in another hit movie, I am there!!!”Brooklyn’s Finest” looks like a good crime drama….
