Howard Stern Set To Replace Simon On “American Idol” Next Season….I Say Brilliant Move!!!!

Word on the street says that “shock jock” Howard Stern has been offered the seat to replace Simon Cowell starting on next season’s “American Idol”, given the fact that Cowell has announced that this will be his last season headlining the number one hit show in America.(SOURCE)

My response to all of this news is that this is a brilliant move on the part of the producers of “American Idol”!!!..in fact, the moment that Howard commits..I say get him on the air immediately!

It will send the ratings through the roof!!! I mean…I will start watching the show once again.

Now, I am not saying that there’s anything wrong with Ellen,… or Simon,….but Howard will transform the “Idol” ratings, but it would only work if Howard is more committed to the success of the show,…rather than the short massive hit of P.R. juice that he could generate by rebelling against his place on the show, and getting replaced for being difficult.

That  getting fired move is not working that well for Star Jones!….so, I’m just saying…COMMIT!!!!..it just Entertainment!!!! ..don’t be a male Star Jones!!!!

So…if he is cool with all of that…I say throw in a twist this season, and have all top 10 finalist RE-AUDITION to stay on the show based on Howard Stern’s decision.

At least let Howard add drama to on episode this season, and allow him to cut one person!!!….let me know what if you like this move or not!!!….I think it’s great!!! We need someone like Howard to come in and shake up TV!!!!…
