$3.8 Trillion Budget…$1.56 Trillion Dollar Deficit!?!?!….Fix This!!!

President Barack Obama unveiled a $3.8 trillion dollar budget for 2011 to the Congress today, that is certain to cause a major controversy on Capitol Hill immediatly. It spends billions of dollars in spending programs in light of the fact that we are trillions of dollars in debt…a record deficit for the U.S.A.

For the record, I am really getting tired of  hearing about what the “past administration” did wrong to put us into this debacle!?!…we already know what happened, that’s why we all voted you in!…I need to hear reasonable, well thought out solutions to the problem, and move on from the excuses.

Obama’s new budget blueprint preaches the need to make tough choices to restrain run-away deficits, but not before attacking what the administration sees as the more immediate challenge of lifting the country out of a deep recession that has cost 7.2 million jobs over the past two years.

The promise is to spend some money and pay to hopefully put the people back to work, and eventually those workers will be able to pay back into the economy, and eventually shrink the deficit….all of this sounds like a possible outcome, but how probable that is,may be the issue.

With the U.S. unemployment rate at a near-record 10 percent, the White House budget’s biggest job-creation item is $33 million in tax cuts for small businesses that expand their payrolls.(Source-http://www.reuters.com/article/idUKTRE6103UL20100201)

If the government pays small businesses to increase the size of their staff with tax incentives all the way to payroll subsidies, then I can guarantee you that employers will immediately hire larger staffs, and the reaction would be on par with the “cash for clunkers” offer, and is something that could directly help the population of unemployed, and small businessmen in general.

That would be a radical act in a capitalistic society, but, we did bail out Wall street, and a bunch of scandalous financial institutions, so why not “Main Street”?

The moratorium would last for a decade, or until 85% of our population,as well as trades, are fully employed.

What I mean by that is simple, instead of manufacturing “Barbie” dolls in China, we will require that they are made here in the United States!!!

If we make it a matter of national defense to rebuild America’s manufacturing infrastructure, which is now primarily in China and SouthEast Asia, then our country could put our people back to work.

We need to stop cutting our own throats here,in favor of cheaper prices.

Are cheaper prices worth our freedom?....

Are cheaper prices worth our freedom???....

…and I like Wal-Mart,…but a lot of their products are made in China, but I think that it is in our country’s best interest to make them here in the good old U.S.A.,…if they like it or not!…but I am open to suggestions.

Let me know your thoughts on this….
