Shots Fired And Hostages Taken At Barona Valley Casino In San Diego,Ca…Disgruntled Employee Goes Postal!

Breaking (somewhat…)News– An ex-employee of the Barona Casino gaming commission stormed into the San Diego county casino this morning armed with a rifle and immediately took three hostages, who were eventually released, after several shots were fired.
The local NBC news service is reporting that …the suspect was identified as Donnell Roberts, 38, of El Cajon, who had worked as an investigator for the Barona gaming commission, said Jan Caldwell, a spokeswoman for the county Sheriff’s Department.
Mr. Roberts had been fired from the gaming commission in November.
The local S.W.A.T. team is on the scene right now, and he is now barricaded inside an office in the casino.
Crisis counselors are on the scene now, negotiating with the gunman, trying to get him to surrender peacefully.
Witnesses have reported that many of the casino patrons had to flee the premises by jumping out of the windows, during the panic.
The casino is located in the Lakeside area of San Diego county, and is one of the more popular indian casinos and resorts in the nation.

On a personal note, two of my aunt’s have a consistently go to this casino on Wednesday, starting in the morning.I thank God that we found out quickly that they did not go today, for some reason!
Believe me,…we were all very concerned to the point of hysterics, and again, thank God that something prevented them from going there today.
Hopefully, this will all work out for the best, and let’s hope that no one gets killed.
