U.S. President Barack Obama, backed by Vice President Joe Biden, speaks after the U.S. Senate passed its version of the health care reform bill on Christmas Eve in the State Dining Room of the White House in Washington on December 24, 2009.

Many Republicans intentionally dragged out a debate on a defense spending bill, hoping that in turn would hold up the health care bill Democrats want to pass before Christmas.

The Senate and House bills will need to be reconciled and final passage may occur in late January or early February 2010.

Let’s all hope for Healthcare for all, including the devout Republicans that will receive a little help out of this highly compromised bill.

Merry Christmas Joe and wife…you killed meaningful healthcare reform and you might as well have killed Christmas too…but some one got there before you two traitors.
