Mary J. Blige Beats Down Husband Kendu At Album Release Party

The holiday season got off with a blast in the face for Kendu Isaacs, the husband of Mary J. Blige, who got punched in the face by Mary, and then beat down by her brother at her record release party at club M2 Tuesday night.

The singer slugged Isaacs, drawing blood, after she thought he was flirting with a waitress and some of his favorite video vixens.

The fisticuffs started after Isaacs had Mary’s brother removed from the V.I.P. section of the club, in favor of the video models, whom he was also spotted flirting with.

“She turned to him and was screaming, ‘You’re not going to ruin my night,’ ” our witness says. “They got up in each other’s faces before her brother tried to separate them, at which point she shoved the guy aside, pulled back and popped Kendu in the face.”

Isaacs was subsequently physically removed from the club, and Mary left shortly thereafter.
