Lil Wayne Pleads Guilty To Gun Charges in New York ,May Get a Year Behind Bars

Breaking News- Multimillion selling triple platinum hit  rap artist Lil Wayne has just pleaded guilty to gun possession charges in New York.

He previously had pleaded not guilty to the  illegal gun possession charges that carried at least 3 1/2 years in prison upon conviction.

He had been arrested for attempted gun possession on July 22, 2007 in NYC after police pulled over his tour bus because they allegedly smelled pot.

Cops say when an officer approached the bus, Wayne tossed a Louis Vuitton bag with a gun inside,off the bus.

The court ruled that DNA evidence found on the gun would be admissible — evidence obtained by techniques Wayne’s lawyer Stacey Richman has called problematic,and after a short battle — Wayne opted to take the plea bargain.

The plea bargain could get Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Carter, a one-year jail sentence.

Lil Wayne is also facing felony drug possession charges in Arizona, after having been found in possession at a border crossing in Yuma, Arizona, a border crossing I am very familiar with. Be warned, do not be in possession of illegal narcotics at the Yuma, Arizona border crossing if at all possible.

My question is this, how can Lil Wayne be forced to spend even a second in prison for this minor offense in most states, yet crazy white neocon Republican terrorist zealots can openly carry handguns, semi-automatic, and automatic machine guns at President Barack Obama’s speeches, town hall meetings and rally’s,… and end up on national T.V. news, held up as some sort of sicko hero?!?

Neither Lil Wayne nor his reps have released any statements at this time.
