Jessica Simpson Upset Over Fox TV Fat Cartoon Insult Aimed at Her

For the second time this week, a young white women is being vilified in the media because she has put on a couple healthy, and natural pounds. I have always been confused by this type of harassment , because I do not know any real man who is actually attracted to a thin emaciated skeletal women, that resemble heroin addicts.
I know some that like their women to look like little boys, which should be a strong hint to the women about what the man actually desires, and it is not a voluptuous curvy vixen, like the classic Marilyn Monroe.
I remember in the 60’sand 70’s when fashion designer Oleg Cassini used to come on the ”Dinah Shore” show, and proclaim that he only hires thick, curvy, real women, and one of his favorite celebrities he would choose to wear his clothes was the ultra glam knock-outS, Eva and Sha-Sha Gabor.
As a classically trained artist, I like to study the masters, and I can’t help but notice that the models in most renaissance painters were thick, curvy, and well fed. I am not mad at a well proportioned lady, but have never been in to thoroughly emaciated skeletal girls. Check out my life drawing sketches posted here:
I know some, and every time I see them, I want to take them out and buy them a healthy meal.
Unfortunetly, the media and popular culture has decided that unnaturally thin is attractive, which to me, means that they probably are not attracted to women, which is cool, but they should have nothing to do with setting any standard of beauty that pertains to women.
They should stick to men, and allow those of us that are attracted to women, to handle that,and ladies, only concern yourselves with what makes you feel confident and strong, which you will never be able to do on an empty stomach.
Ralph Lauren super model Filippa Hamilton (120 pounds) got fired for being too fat, at the terrible unnatural weight, for her stature, of only 120 pounds.

All that says to me is that Ralph Lauren is not making clothes for grown women. He had his artist re-touch a photo of Filippa, and shrink her body so that her head is wider than her waist.
Pretty sick looking to me.
This week, Jessica Simpson had to suffer public ridicule concerning her natural weight gain. Fox TV news and sports aired a tasteless animated gag that lampooned her ex-boyfriend Tony Romo, quarterback for the hapless Dallas Cowboys, on how he tried to stay with her, even after she put on a few pounds.
They immediately received tons of e-mail protest, proclaiming the skit to be tasteless, and demeaning to not only Jessica, but all the young women that look up to her, and are affected by the unnatural expectations of a grown womans body image, that is much maligned in the media.
I agree with the complaints, and call for an immediate apology to all the women and girls in America, thick and thin, as well as one to Jessica.
Fox TV and Burger King apologized this week for what they deemed was an inappropriate cartoon sketch during Fox NFL Sunday that suggested Simpson, Tony Romo‘s former girlfriend, was fat.
Burger King was the presenting sponsor of the skit.
In it, cartoon depictions of Marion Barber and Jason Witten take shots at Simpson’s weight.
Among the jabs: “Man, I still can’t believe Tony [Romo] dated Jessica Simpson, even after she blew up bigger than Flozell Adams!” says an animated version of Cowboys running back Marion Barber.
“Burger King Corp. did not have any editorial input in the creation of the animation that ran last Sunday, and no one from Burger King Corp. approved it before it aired,” Fox said in a statement to Us Weekly. “Upon reflection, our poor attempt at humor was insensitive and we deeply apologize to anyone who might have been offended.”
The fast-food chain added: “Burger King Corp. has a long-standing relationship with FOX Sports, as well as an extensive media partnership with the network. The specific content for this sketch involving Jessica Simpson was not developed or aired by BKC or any of its agencies.”
Calls to Simpson’s rep were not immediately return, but the 29-year-old chimed in via Twitter on Wednesday. “I will never understand why people attack for a laugh,” she wrote. “Own your beauty and don’t listen to the judgement [sic].”
And how do you feel about poor Filippa Hamilton? She is out of a job, has been wronged, and need our help and support. She is not broke at all, but she has a realistic concern about the message that her fans and all the women in America need to hear, but also it needs to change for the health of our daughters.
At 23, 5 feet, 10 inches and 120 pounds — a size 4 — Hamilton has been doing Ralph Lauren print ads since 2002. But the company claims she’s now too fat to fit into their sample clothes. Ralph Lauren admits that Hamilton was fired, explaining the termination came “as a result of her inability to meet the obligations under her contract with us.”
Which is a polite way of saying, “This girl is a porker.”
Hamilton didn’t mince words either about getting fired for her weight.
Hamilton’s response: “I think they owe American women an apology, a big apology; I’m very proud of what I look like, and I think a role model should look healthy.”
What do you think? Is she fat? Is Ralph Lauren crazy or blind or both?
I also realise that if the powers that be are going this hard over minor weight gain with these beautiful women, then there is little hope that a natural African American women could have a chance at modeling for Ralph Lauren, and can look forward to being ridiculed on Fox News and Sports.
I produced an animated short cartoon with Jessica Simpson, and at that time, I thought she was very attractive, but could be a knock-out if she would only allow herself to eat, and fill out a little.
She did, and I like it a lot. Tony Romo is a frightened little child if he let 10 or 20 more pounds stop him…

Women are attractive because of who they are anyway… If a woman is skinny just because she starves herself and is obsessed with being skinny, then she’s unattractive because she starves herself and is obsessed with being skinny… If she is fat because she is unhealthy and slovenly, then she is unattractive because she is unhealthy and slovenly… If she is a wonderful person with a great personality, it really doesn’t matter what she looks like, as long as she is clean.
