Kandi Mourns For A.J. Jewell

Family, friends and fans began arriving at Ray of Hope Christian Church at 11 am for the funeral of Ashley “AJ” JewellFriday. He was the former fiance of Kandi Burruss, star of ”The Real Housewives of Atlanta” who was brutally beat to death last Friday at the ”Body Tap” strip joint in Atlanta. He was set to purchase the business when he was murdered over a business dispute.

Ashley Jewell was remembered on ”The Real Housewives of Atlanta” on Thursday night, followed by a call in from Kim Zociak who attended the wake.

Kandi has also reached out to fans on her Twitter page: “I could never in a million years imagine this happening,” she posted. “Please pray for AJ’s children. That’s who I’m the most concerned for. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their prayers.”
